Recent national public radio broadcasts have mentioned cultural groups
in India and Thailand where a large portion of the male population
visits prostitutes on a regular (at least monthly) basis. This was
in the context of spread of aids. Medical people from those countries
were recounting efforts to change this cultural practice before the
groups eliminated themselves at great expenses to the nations.
