For the work on the manual on development-related resources, one group to check with is Volunteers in Technical Assistance, in Arlington, Virginia, USA. VITA is producing a manual that may be on a similar subject (see the description below, which comes from their recently issued publications catalog). I called their office today, and they told me they expect to publish their manual around mid-May. The person to contact at VITA is Gary Garriot. I believe his email address is mailto:garyg@vita.org; the group's main address is mailto:vita@vita.org. In January, I attended a workshop put on by some of the people who are helping write the VITA manual, and I was impressed with their presentation and with a short, preliminary version of their manual that they distributed. --Bill Black, PROFIT Project, Arlington, Virginia, USA
