To: Multiple recipients of list DEVEL-L

To Olivier and others who inquired about PCORPS-L, and alternatives to
the Peace Corps for non-US residents:
I retrieved this from my
personal archive of PCORPS-L postings.

Hope it helps.

Amy,

I can suggest two books as sources: 1. Alternatives to the Peace Corps - Food First Books, 145 9th. St., San Francisco CA 94103 (415) 864-8555 $6.95 + s/h and 2. International Internships by Will Cantrell and Francine Modderno, WorldWise Books, P.O. Box 3030, Oakton, VA 22124, $18.95 (gasp). Best of luck. I am also considering alternatives and share similar sentiments and maybe misgivings. Both these books list several organizations (some in duplicate) and the requirements for citizenship, education, etc.
