While I can understand Gustavo's concern and I believe that the announcement may have less to do with sustainability and more w/ corporate public relations I also believe this announcement and award is better than none. But please don't get me wrong, I do not pretend by any means to 'defend' (if that's the appropriate term) Monsanto and to 'rejoice' with their attitude, I simply believe that 'apparently' positive attitudes should be supported while maintaining a *careful* watch until hard evidence indicates that these are not apparent but 'truly' positive and continuous attitudes.
