I would just like to add an additional $0.02 from Thailand.  I don't
think we should be condeming Monsanto or other chemical companies.  As
far as I can see most chemicals companies have responded rather well to
environmental concerns.  Much of no-contact handling adaptionation have
been done through the chemical companies either alone or in conjunction
with machinery companies.  Also, the newer generation of many chemicals
that are getting to be more pest specific or decreases half-live
persistance have been company inititives.  They have also been taking
some of the lead in the IPM efforts and will be depended upon to develop
future products that will become progressivel more envirnomenal
friendly.  If they don't who will.
