The program for the Second Environments for Tourism Conference has been
announced. The Conference, hosted by the University of Nevada, Las
Vegas, will be held from June 3 through June 6, 1996. Nineteen
concurrent paper sessions and three general sessions are scheduled.
Papers have been contributed by authors from the USA, Europe, South Asia,
the Middle East, and Australia. Topics range from critical analysis of
ecotourism and sustainable tourism, to current trends in tourism
marketing, to the role of tourism in economic restructuring, to the
design of tourist sites in a postmodern world, to "green" operation and
marketing of tourist facilities.

Early-bird Conference registration is still available, as are discounted student registration rates. A limited number of time slots are still available for paper submission. If you are interested in submitting a paper, or if you would like to know more about the Conference, please contact Wes Roehl via email at mailto:roehl@ccmail.nevada.edu or by phone at 702-895-3865 (voice) and 702-895-4870 (fax).
