Hi everybodyI am in my second year of my PhD research project in which I am looking at the World Bank's approach to 'sustainable development'. I am interested in the way the issue of the environment became integrated in World Bank policies and operations, and what implications this has for the theory and practice of World Bank development discourse.
I am trying at the moment to organise a field trip to Africa to research World Bank development projects later this year (probably October):
COULD ANYONE SUGGEST TO ME ONE OR A FEW WORLD BANK PROJECTS IN AFRICA WHICH WOULD BE MOST VALUABLE FOR MY PROJECT?
I really would appreciate any help - ideas, information, suggestions, contacts - with my field trip and my project in general.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Tom Wanner
