Case Studies, Research in Progress and Proposals

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
GARETH MORGAN, York University, Toronto, Canada. author of IMAGES OF
ORGANIZATION. Dr. Morgan's keynote address is titled: "Imagination: a
new core for turbulant times"
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: From NOW until MAY 15TH, 1997!
COMPLETED PAPER "RED EYE" SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
Submit three (3) laser printed, single-spaced camera-ready originals on
8 1/2 x 11 inch, 20 pound bond paper. DO NOT exceed this paper length.
Individuals using English-cut A-4 size paper should snip off or ignore
the portion of the paper which exceeds 11 inches. Margins should be 1
inch all around. DO NOT type page numbers. The paper's title should be
CAPITALIZED and CENTERED. The BYLINE should contain ONLY the author's
first middle & last names followed by their institutions name. DO NOT
add
anything else for it will be removed. The total length of your
submission is not to exceed 6 pages. Abstracts of executive summaries
submitted in lieu of papers may be up to a full page length. Also
submit a 3 1/2 inch IBM compatible disk in either Microsoft Word or
WordPerfect in the same format as the hard copy camera-ready
submission. Identify, on the disk, whether the software is for Windows
or DOS, version number, title, track and lead author of the paper. All
other requirements refer to the American Psychological Association's
Handbook, 4th Edition. Or, contact

REVIEW PROCESS:
A blind review, by no less than three individuals in your area of
concentration, will be conducted within 72 hours of the receipt of your
COMPLETED PAPER, etc. Acceptance notices, along with all necessary
registration, reservation, travel forms and etc., will be sent via email
and hard copy mail.

SUBMISSIONS/PROCEEDINGS:
ALL ACCEPTED SUBMISSIONS are published in each of the AoM/IAoM's nine
(9) major division's proceedings. Both soft bound copy proceedings in
which your paper is published and a computer disk of the entire
conference presentations are provided at the conference site to all paid
attendees.
LANGUAGE:
Accepted presentations (oral) may be made in Chinese, English, French,
German and/or Spanish. Publication in the proceedings will be in
English only.
AoM/IAoM JOURNAL PUBLICATIONS:

Papers presented in conference are eligible, after suitable revision and
development,
for publication in one of these journals.
IMPORTANT DATES:
"RED EYE" COMPLETED PAPER Submission Deadline: from NOW until MAY 15TH,
1997. Submission Acceptance Notification within 72 hours of receipt and
no later than May 20th, 1997. Conference Dates: Wednesday, August 6th
through Saturday, August 9th, 1997. Workshops, symposia, special
presentations, division meetings, etc. will be conducted on August 6th
and 7th. Paper presentations are scheduled for Friday and Saturday,
August 8th and 9th. Departure date is Sunday, August 10th.
PRELIMINARY CONFERENCE PROGRAM:
Upon receipt of your camera-ready copy (and conference fees...see our
Web page
http://cob.isu.edu/AoM/), you will be mailed a preliminary Conference
Program containing information on registration times and dates of other
important conference activities.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE:
$285 if postmarked by June 3, 1997, $385 thereafter (US Dollars).
Includes admission to all sessions, copy of conference program and
materials, copy of proceedings in which published, a diskette containing
all presentations, and an evening welcome reception. All Conference
Luncheon add $29 US Dollars. (Contact HQ AoM/IAoM for forms or check
the Web). Forms available from headquarters.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS:
A room with single, double or twin beds is $164 Canadian Dollars. 3rd
person add $25.
