You have quite eloquently described the long acknowledged *need* for the
shift in the organizational structure paradigm from: Bureaucratic
(autocratic) structures to PARTICIPATIVE DEMOCRATIC ones.

   It's already happening.  In my organization, the autocracy lives on
   only in the minds of the autocrats; when they're gone, it is gone.
   People are finally focusing on mission, more so than ever in the
   past.
