Dear Johnny,Eberhard was responding to JC's comment that he (Eberhard) was in effect a pig who got irritated because he couldn't learn to sing (i.e., understand what JC was saying.) I thought at the time that JC's analogy was rather flip and inappropriate. Perhaps Eberhard overreacted. However, Eberhard is the one who tends the women who have the diseases that could be prevented by proper condom use, whereas JC does not. I suppose it is the difference between closing someone elses eyes (after death) and closing one's own eyes (because of disagreement). The situations evoke different feelings on the part of the person doing the closing.
