THE LEAST OF THESE Program Highlights HCJB--The Voice of the AndesOn The Least of These, Shelly Sutton fills in for host Ken MacHarg and talks with Laura Haas, director of the New Beginnings Women's Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Find out why this one-year-old ministry, uniquely designed to help women in poverty, was formed. Also, learn what specific needs women face when in a poverty situation, and what needs to be done to help them to the point of self-sufficiency. The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
