Human Rights Internet is now accepting applications for 6-7 month overseas positions under the Youth International Internship Program. Details and application information (and the application form) are available online at:

HUMAN RIGHTS INTERNET and MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS & INTERNATIONAL TRADE (Government of Canada) Youth International Internship Program Guidelines:
Applications must be received on or before May 15, 1998.
1. Applicants must be Canadian citizens in possession of a valid Canadian passport or landed immigrants legally entitled to work in Canada. 2. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30. 3. Applicants must have completed a college or university program. 4. Applicants must be either unemployed or underemployed in their field of study. That is to say, they must be having trouble finding work related to their education and interests. Previous participants in the Youth International Internship Program are ineligible.
