Dear DEVEL-L members,

It has been some time that I've been involved with the research on the use of Geographical Information Systems in service delivery of local governments. More generally this has meant the study of the use of this particular type of information system for inter alia effective planning, tax assessment, health service monitoring and the like. I'm interested in applications that have been providing support to decision making for local governance in developing and transitional economies. It would be a great help if you could point me to sources from where I could get details of such applications. The format in which I have thus far been collecting the mentioned data is as follows:

Project Name: City and Country: Project co-ordinator: Contact details of co-ordinator: Tel: Fax: Email: WWW address: Objectives: Project description:

I shall be grateful for information in any format (not necessarily adhering to the above-mentioned structure).

Thank you.

Amit
