The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) is now accepting applications for 1998/1999 Youth International Internship Program (YIIP). Thirty positions are available. The purpose of the internship is to communicate sustainable development to global audiences, using Internet technologies.
We are looking for people with the following skills:
Strong website design and information delivery skills on the Internet. Computer Science background would be an asset. There will be 6 Interns placed with our Spinning the Web partners in developing countries - these positions require experience in website design and training.
Strong understanding or experience in either Trade and Sustainable Development, Business and Sustainability or Climate Change issues. MBA, B.A.Commerce, International Relations and or Political Science an asset.
Some of the placements require fluency in French or Spanish.
