You are invited to subscribe to a "Think Tank" electronic discussion, "International Research Networks." This electronic exchange is run by TechNet, the Science & Technology Thematic Group of the World Bank. The electronic discussion will focus on how information and communications technologies (ICTs) can assist research entities and activites operating in developing countries. The discussion will begin April 15 and end May 15.
HOW IT WORKS
A Think Tank is a conference discussion conducted entirely electronically. Approximately 20 experts from government, private commercial sector, academia, NGOs, international organizations and the World Bank will discuss issues for a period of four weeks. The discussion will be moderated and the moderator will pose an initial set of issues. The expert discussion will be broadcast only to subscribers, but subscribers are encouraged to comment and submit questions.
