Subject:  Who Is Who in Rural HIV/AIDS


Friends/Colleagues:


We are developing a "Who is Who in Rural HIV/AIDS" address database.  On a
tripartite (UNAIDS/FAO/WB) March 11 meeting on Rural HIV/AIDS Initiative, it was
agreed to establish a ?Who is Who? in AIDS prevention through Rural Development
Programs. The objective is to facilitate networking (both vertically and
horizontally), exchange of experiences, and information flow.  Institutions
involved will be UNAIDS, FAO, UNDP, WB, National AIDS Committees, Other Donors,
NGOs, INGOs, etc.




This is an integral part of Regional Rural AIDS initiative under Hans Binswanger
(Director, RD&E, Africa Division), and Jean Delion (TLL).  The most important
users of this database will be the frontline people (both among our national
counterparts and from our respective organizations).


We request those interested to be included to send ASAP your name, title,
program/division, institution, mailing address, phone, fax and E-mail.  Contact
me if you have any question or comment.
