    Colleagues:

    May I alert you?

The following conference =93call for participation=94 offers exceptional=
paper=20 presentation and full publication program offerings that include numerous=20 benefits for creative, enlightened academic scholars and practitioners=20 worldwide. Its venue and forthcoming activities are superb.

I highly recommend that you visit their site and not only bookmark it for=20 future reference but actually attend and participate in a meeting with top=
=20 persons from around the globe.

    Thank you, Dr. Karin Klenke

    CALL FOR PAPERS

19TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMENT/ INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMENT (AoM/IAoM) www.aom-iaom.org

October 10-14, 2001 in Qu=E9b=E9c, Canada Venue: Radisson Hotel Qu=E9b=E9c

Conference Theme: In A NEW TIME, IN A NEW WAY: MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR THE=
    =20 NEW ECONOMY

The AoM/IAoM invites your participation as a presenter of one or two=20 papers, serve as a panel/ workshop/symposium organizer, session chair,=20 discussant, reviewer or attendee. Applied research related management=20 manuscripts, teaching related submissions, and practitioner contributions=20 are welcome.

All other information regarding the conference including a detailed=20 description of session formats, the acceptance and publication process and=
=20 the submission procedures can be found by clicking on the first two links=20 of the AoM/IAoM home page which are labeled =9319th Annual Conference=94 and=
    =20
=93Call for Papers on www.aom-iaom.org where you also find all the relevant=
=20 forms including membership, conference registration forms and fee structure.

We are preparing for a particularly exiting conference this year, which=20 will feature two additional initiatives: the 3rd Annual Project 2005 will=20 occupy a portion of the program and has posted a separate call at=20
(www.aom-iaom.org/Project-2001.html). Project 2005, a multidisciplinary,=20 multi-year effort designed to promote the integration of management,=20 education, technology, and leadership through a series of international=20 congresses and special publications. Formal papers, workshops and symposia=
    =20 are invited as contributions.

    And the =93New Professor=94 (www.aom-iaom.org/new_prof.html), an avant-guard=
=20 initiative, composed of creative, enlightened, participating educators=20 concerned and deeply dissatisfied with the present conditions of=20 institutions of higher learning. These professors are those who are=20 committed to break away from the 20th century, monolithic brick-and-mortar=
=20 models of traditional universities. This portion of the conference does not=
=20 require the submission of formal papers. Instead, the program creates a=20 platform for abstract submissions that will be presented as short talks=20 grouped into colloquia based on common themes.

    The =93New Professors=94 will form a group of avant-guard individuals intent=
on=20 developing affective technological, pedagogical paradigms and moral=20 philosophies designed to change the present structure and delivery of=20 educational programs and services. This group will have direct publication=
=20 access to the writing and release of multiple textbooks and journals geared=
=20 toward the propagation and practice of necessary educational reforms. A=20 publishing house has already been selected.

Additional programs featured at the conference are Human Resource=20 Management and Organizational Behavior and Management (HRMOB), with=20 Cyber-technology and Computer Science (CSCS) situated among sections of=20 specialties noted in the listed AoM/IAoM divisions.

    * Each of these programs, complete with names and acronyms are official=20 trademarks belonging to each of the organizations both nationally and=20 internationally.

    All may be accessed via www.e-academe.org and/or viewed directly on=20 www.aom-iaom.org .

The deadline for initial submissions is May 31, 2001.

All AoM/IAoM and Project 2005 papers will pass a blind peer review process=
=20 for publication in the 2001 AoM/IAoM and Project 2005 Proceedings. A=20 selection of exceptionally provocative and innovative papers from these=20 selections will be published in edited volumes of a number of journals.

All =93New Professor=94 submissions will be reviewed for program inclusion=
as=20 short talks and abstract publications, yet readied for full-scale textbook=
=20 chapters and journal article publications within a two-year window.

Consider AoM/IAoM 2001, its divisions, HRMOB, CSCS, Project 2005, and the=20
    =93New Professor=94 as vehicles to:

    - Showcase your initiatives, efforts and creativity
    - Become a member of a modern network of like-minded scholars and=20 practitioners
    - Develop professional associations with creative, innovative people like=20 yourself representing the higher tiers in academia, industry, and=20 government worldwide
    - Explore leadership opportunities in the AoM/IAoM and its associated=20 initiatives
