Dear Recipients,


        Could anybody in the list provide me with information on the
contribution Small and Medium Enterprises bring to socioeconomic development of
Sub-saharan Africa in general, and Zaire in particular? What I need is
information on SMEs' share of national:


        1. GDP
        2. employment
        3. total number of enterprises
        4. rural/urban development
        5. etc.


        I need this information to complete my doctoral dissertation, and I
only have two months left.
