The Community Reinvestment Fund is a Minneapolis-based nonprofit that provides a secondary market for economic development loans in the U.S. We buy loans from community-based development organizations, giving them new cash to reinvest in their communities. We pool the loans and issue bonds, backed by the loan pools, to private investors.
