"King of the Mountain," a special program through words and music on how Christians address poverty.
September 8
Child labor--some good news and some bad. Than a promising report on the search for a vaccine for Malaria. Finally, a special report on the Shalom program, a unique approach to inner city needs. (This is a repeat program).
September 15
"The Silent Cry," a special documentary on Latin America's Street Children. Representatives from UNICEF, CARE, Compassion International and other agencies describe the plight of the working children of the region and offer some solutions.
The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
