WHAT'S NEW ON THE ELDIS GATEWAY TO INFORMATION
SOURCES ON ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT?

SEPTEMBER 1997

The conversion of our Eldis gateway into a faster, interactive database is now well under way. The new design allows better searching, improved access to full text materials, easier browsing, and an extra bibliographical search feature. These new features are demonstrated at:

http://nt1.ids.ac.uk/eldis/idemo.htm

or simply start from our new home page:

http://nt1.ids.ac.uk/eldis/eldis.htm

We are starting to add extra databases to the service: currently you can access recent additions to the British Library for Development Studies and the IDS PRA abstracts database. You can access these from:

http://nt1.ids.ac.uk/data/bibliog.htm
