***  MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT -- INTERNATIONAL VERTEBRATE PEST CONFERENCE  ***

The Seventeenth Vertebrate Pest Conference will be held Monday through Thursday, March 4-7, 1996, at the Red Lion Hotel - Sonoma County, in Rohnert Park, California (50 miles north of San Francisco). This conference features three days of selected speakers covering all aspects of wildlife damage management and control. An optional field trip will precede the conference.

The Vertebrate Pest Conference, which is held every two years, is one of the largest and most recognized conferences of its kind. Participants and attendees include leading authorities on wildlife damage management from the United States, Canada, and throughout the world. All papers are presented in English, and the Proceedings of the Vertebrate Pest Conference are published within seven months of the conference date.

A SPECIAL POSTER SESSION is planned for both student and non-student contributions Posters submitted by students will be judged, and cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 will be awarded to the first, second, and third place posters, respectively.
