As usual the report starts with a macroeconomic survey where we present the main results showing the performance of the economy during the period. We continue with a discussion of the fate of the Enhanced Structural Adjustment Facility (ESAF). This discussion focuses on the targets and the achievements of the ESAF. Section 4 discusses the possibilities of growth and development in the future. Section 5 presents a discussion on some socioeconomic issues. The report ends with a section of conclusions, both summarizing the main results of economic policy during the period, and discussing the possibilities of economic development due to the ESAF.
