Keep in mind that using the above command at a listserver address, you will only get lists that are carried by listserver software, not listproc, majordomo, mailbase or the like. There are at least three (probably more) web locations that provide for a search of some other lists, as well as listserver lists. They are at URL:
http://scwww.ucs.indiana.edu/mlarchive/
(a pretty large list of lists is covered) and:
http://www.austin.unimelb.edu.au:800/ls/acad
(which covers mostly scholarly lists) and:
http://www.nova.edu/Inter-Links/
(haven't used this searcher).
Mailbase is based in the UK and a list of mailbase lists can be obtained by sending the message:
lists
to the email address:
mailto:mailbase@mailbase.ac.uk
I compile a text based list (158k) of lists, usenet discussions and web sites of potential interest to nonprofits in housing, health & human services which may cover some of the areas in which you have an interest. It is USA oriented, but not totally. Feel free (anyone) to send email to me for a copy at:
Please use:
Internet Resources
as the subject of the email. Thanks
