I'm really sorry to disappoint all of the conspiracy buffs who
responded to my posting. I have no agenda, hidden or otherwise, and I
have no point to make. I posted the statement because it intrigued me as
it seems to have intrigued many here who read it.
I'm glad I did it because I have learned a lot reading all of the
responses from people whose education and background gave them insights
I lack.
I can't tally up the responses that agree or disagree with me
because there is nothing to agree or disagree with. I take no position.
Some people read a lot more into the exercise than was there.
What you saw was what you got. Just a statement, nothing more.
Most people attacked the statement which was what I hoped would
happen. Some attacked me. OK that's no problem for me, although it may be
for the attackers. I would hate to think that people would be intimidated
from expressing what might be unpopular views because they feared others
might doubt their motives. That won't happen to me because I had no
motive beyond what I stated.
I would not like to see the net become confrontational but, I
love a good controversy. There's a big difference in my mind.
