Dear list colleagues:

I am a new "reader" to the list, hoping for intelligent discourse on issues of developing countries. I'm working hard to simplify, and filter out the noise, and could use a little clarification.

Some lists I'm on are very civil, open, but respectful with a healthy exchange of diverse opinions. I'm concerned because my early reading of this list notes several "agent provocateurs" and some aggressiveness. On some lists, there is a concern that this may be a gender "professional" voice or genre.

Can one of you please advise me, off line, about the tone and tenor of this list? Thanks I'll appreciate your observations or suggestions.

One world, One Peace

Best regards, Barb
