To: mailto:DEVEL-L@AMERICAN.EDU

Education Development Center, a Boston-based NGO, is looking for
qualified individuals to serve as short- to medium-term (3-6 months)
consultants on a PROPOSED project to strengthen South African
universities and technical institutes that suffered under apartheid.

EDC is an equal opportunity employer, so to broaden opportunities we are posting this query on DEVEL-L. Please feel free to cross-post.

We are looking for people with expertise in the following areas:

-- Curriculum development in college and university-level sciences (e.g., botany, biology, chemistry, physics)

-- Student services at the post-secondary level (e.g., skills enhancement, counselling, health services, remedial programs in language arts, mathematics)

To be considered, you must have experience in these areas at the post-secondary level in North America, and you should also have experience working internationally, preferably in Africa.

Preferred way of applying is by e-mail to <mailto:edallan@edc.org>, with resume also sent by e-mail. Or you can fax to me at (617) 332-6405.

Many thanks.
