Hello everyone,This is my first mail to this list, so let me introduce myself (and sorry about my english).
I'm sending this message on behalf of Ingenieria Sin Fronteras, a spanish NGO working in promoting development in different parts of the world, specially in Central and South America.
We are currently supporting a rural development project in Darien, the eastern region of Panama, close to Colombia. This project is focused on indigenous people, and its main lines are - Promoting the improvment of agricultural practices in order to increase food production along with a sustainable use of local resources. - Strenghtening the presence of indigenous comunities in local and regional market. - Supporting the claims about land rights, one of the major concerns of the Indigenous people in Darien.
In the production area, we are facing the problem of food conservation, and we are looking for a light technology model of dryer that can run with solar energy or any other kind of easily available material such as rice straw, etc. If there is anyone that can give some help about this, please contact us. Many thanks to all of you
