THE LEAST OF THESE
Program Highlights
HCJB--The Voice of the Andes
December 29, 1997

Today we will hear about a survey which shows the reasons why people in the United States are homeless, and Allen Graham will tell us what some Rescue Missions are doing to address the problem in unique ways. We'll talk with Phil Rydman of the International Union of Gospel Missions. Later, we'll talk about the feminine face of poverty and we'll hear a feature on Thailand produced by Paul Bell. Finally, Len Kinzel comes along with a thought-provoking piece about how Christians address poverty issues in a holistic manner. The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

The Least of These is broadcast on HCJB, The Voice of the Andes on the following Schedule:
