Dear Friends,About the incredible binder on micro loan systems I have received from WWB, last Friday, in English, yesterday I also received another one, as thick as, as full of information as, in Spanish. More than 25 different letter-size papers, summing more than 200 pages, the most comprehensible set of information on micro credit I have ever seen, after one year researching such institutions. (I hope WWB doesn't mind about the demand of their papers I may cause with this information.)
Again the binder came without any identification or message, so I cannot thank the person who has sent both to me. Or ask the reason of these expensive mailings to Brasilia ($14 each one). Are they intending to help that CD-ROM and/or Web site on a micro credit project? And you, who already expressed the intention to helping with this project, have you thought about its structure and scope? Thanks, and post your suggestion to the list. After all, I am sure there are many people here very resourceful to design the project's main framework, more able than I to do so.
Remember that I am just an actual voluntary worker from the "developing" world who tries to use the Internet as a tool to teach each other to combine our knowledge, empower our work, and promote social change everywhere.
P.S. Does anyone have the W.B.B. E-mail address? Surprisingly, both binders and all those papers don't bring any E-mail address or their UR. I would like to know if they have already all these papers and bulletins on the Web - and if they don't, maybe I will scan them and include at our web page on micro credit: http://webwrite.com/partners.bsb-dc
The list of the titles of the 23 papers included in the binder is already there...: http://webwrite.com/partners.bsb-dc/wwbbestp.htm
Yours, Joaquim
