Dear mailing-list recipients:
My apologies if this has been posted to an inappropriate list.

I am currently a student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. This May I will be graduating with an MA in International Affairs and concentrations in International Economics and Science and Technology. At this time, I am conducting a job search.

I have a strong background in International Affairs combined with a self-taught background in network computing. I am most interested in working for an international organization such as a United Nations Agency, OECD, European Union, etc, though I would consider work with national governments and private corporations such as telecomms or high-tech companies. I am considering long-term assignments In North America and Europe with frequent travel and/or short-term assignments in any other part of the world. I am very interested in working in the capacity of technical advisor to countries in the developing world or organizations that are new to the information superhighway (though I am flexible about this).

I have broad experience living in Latin America, Europe, and the United States. My mother tongue is English, and I speak Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, and German (in declining order of proficiency).

QUALIFICATIONS --Three years professional experience in international development and exchange programs. --Ability to think creatively and flexibly to find solutions. --Language ability and overseas experience enable me to work in a variety of environments, cultures, and situations. --Technical background in computing. --Proficient in economic, political, and financial analysis. --Dual citizen of Germany and the US.

A detailed resume can be found at the http address listed at the bottom of this message. Other contact information is provided as well. I will be in Europe for interviews from March 14 to 27.

If you or someone you know would be interested in my background please forward this message to them. I appreciate your assistance. If I can answer any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
