Dear Karl and friends:

I am sorry to post this publically. I disagree with most of postings of Mr. Hanson but I disagree of Karl Radovl's behaviour on disgrace him in public bringing personal opinions about Mr Hanson's performance somewhere else in this cyberspace.

Whatever happened to Mr. Hanson somewhere else it is his business and only his. His right to privacy has been violated and I am noting that personal regulation does not work here.

On the other hand, it is a general rule to respect other peroson's opinions, I believe academical radicalization should not go beyond a confrontation of ideas. However this does not occur in the real world.

Readers of this list appear unaware that Jay Hanson had been a frequent, if - IMHO - foolish, "contributor" to the sci.econ newsgroup. After becoming the subject of regular intellectual refutation and then ridicule in that newsgroup, by economists, physicists, and biologists, he seems to have moved his postings from sci.econ to this list and a couple of others.

Those with an intellectually substantive, rather than a hortatory, interest in the subject of ecological economics, may find the following forwarded post to be of interest.
