I think we must start by changing all previous assumptions about man (particularly the economic ones, e.g., common interest is best serve by the individual persuit of self-interest, perfect competition & information, etc.) for this one:

Humans CAN be purposeful and idea-seeking in the RIGHT environment.

I great concern I have is that by focusing on future generations we fail to fix the problems of the current generation.

Let's built the right environment NOW and by default we would take care of future generations.
