ACTION OFFICERThe Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) of the U.S. Agency for International Development is recruiting for the position of Action Officer. Three year personal services contract with possible renewal starting March 1997. Duties Include: Coordinate interagency reviews of proposals to disaster programs, interface with implementing organizations regarding project proposals, track due dates of program status, attend meeting as assigned by the Regional Team Leader. Qualifications: Experience with private voluntary organizations in emergency relief, humanitarian assistance or project management. Strong writing/analytical skills required. BA in international relations, economics, food policy or related subject. U.S. citizen. Secret security clearance with USAID will be required. Closing date: February 14, 1997.
