Steve, I think perhaps you are.....

You earlier challenged anyone to provide a single scientific study that spoke to the negative effects of DDT. A quick search at our library revealed numerous (over 260) such reports, however in fairness to the late Ms. Carson, I am only providing those that were available at the time she published her book.

There are of course, many more cites...I thought an even 3 dozen was a good start. A couple of key points: A) Every single one of these reports was written BEFORE Rachel Carson's book "Silent Spring," so these scientific studies were not the result of a "psuedoscience" knee-jerk reaction the Ms. Carson's book. B) DDT, DDE, and Chlorinated Hydrocarbons are essentially the same thing, with only minute differences in their chemical structures--all of the above refer to this family of pesticides, namely DDT and DDE.

In another post about DDT, Mr. Eskow claimed that:

1. there was not one scientist willing to speak to the damages of DDT--above are over 30.

2. "There has never been a single shred of evidence that DDT harmed so much as a single Robin." At least six of the above cites *specifically* adress avian damage from DDT.

Lastly, above Mr. Eskow is quoted as saying, "I understand how hard it is for people who have believed one way for so many years, who have been taught that those present contrary evidence are evil, to look steadily and without fear at evidence that shakes their faith."

Look very hard at the above evidence Steve, it is but the tip of the iceburg. You asked for one scientist, i gave you over 36--are you willing to "look steadily and without fear" at the above evidence, or will skulk back to the pseudoscience homepage in the hopes of somehow debunking the 36 scientists above?

Will you let the "truth set you free," Steve?
