Poverty is the world's biggest killer. On this week's broadcast of The Least of These from radio station HCJB Allen Graham will take a look at some startling facts from the World Health Organization. Then, Leonard Kinzel will explore the issue of whether there is a water shortage around the world. Later, we'll talk with Paul Townsend of Catholic Relief Services in Quito about health issues in the developing world, and in particular the need for adequate, safe water. Finally, Paul Bell will join us to talk about the people and culture of the Altai Republic. The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

The Least of These is broadcast on HCJB, The Voice of the Andes on the following Schedule:

To The South Pacific: 10:00 UTC on 9445 kHz To Europe: 20:00 UTC on 11960 kHz (may also be heard in Africa and Middle East) To The Americas: 2 and 5:00 (UTC Tuesday), (9 p.m. and midnight Monday Eastern Standard Time) 9745 kHz
