Dear readers,


I am currently researching and writings my thesis on Science and Technology
Policy (S&TP), and Science and Technology Indicators for Latin America
countries specially for Colombia.


The issues of my research include:


        -Cultural and Social Ideology biases of current international standards
for S&T indicators, such as OECD's Frascati Manual.


        -Relationship between Policy and Indicators -- in general, as well as
specifically in S&T.


        -Relationship between Social Ideology, Culture, and Policy


        -Relationship between social/economic development paradigm (of
modernization) and Latin America's social ideology, culture, and how S&T
Policy reflects them.


        -Recent trends in L.A.'s social thinkers and innovators regarding path of
their progress.


        -S&T (policy and indicators) for social change.
