As I was working for a few years with AIESEC in Canada (Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales). It's the biggest student-run non profit organization wich specializes in exchanging students with various programs; it goes from a traineeship to a foreign private company, development projects with foreign NGOs, or even commercial envoys. The organization offers to the participant a preparation program, an ongoing-traineeship support and a re-integration process.
Last year, i experienced overseas exchange in West Africa through a commercial and development envoy. If you have any question, i can answer them on both sides... the managing and the participant aspect
