Santaigo, Thanks so much for posting all the info, and your ideas sound interesting re the thought of potential databases for future donations.
My particular interest is in computers for youth and women's groups in the Middle East and North Africa and I will follow up more specifically with the organizations you did list, as well as to watch to see if there are more ideas and followups posted here.
I know groups here in the US who work hard to make sure no food is wasted when there are people going hungry, (including working to raise money and in-kind donations for transport of the food to where it is needed) and hopefully we can work for a parallel purpose in the hardware arena!
