Dear Netizens,

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide me with references on the economic impact of saving and credit cooperatives or, at least, of any other alternative form of banking, more or less close to the Grameen Bank system.

Thanks a lot.

Two folks doing this in our area are:

Working Capital 99 Bishop Allen Dr. Cambridge, MA 02139 (617) 576 8620

Faron Lawrence New Haven Investment Corp City Hall New Haven, CT 06510 (203) 776-6172

Suggest you contact directly.

mailto:cren@aol.com had a contact with a guy in Brooklyn doing cooperative credit unions. Perhaps you could ask them.
