Dear Tom, just a note of caution regarding the so called "future search" which has *nothing* to do with the Search Conference (designed by Fred and Merrelyn Emery) and which quite unfortunately has created a lot of confusion and frustration.

As I far as I know the Search Conference (as designed by the Emerys) is, as of today, the best tool not only to develop a strategic plan, but even more importantly, to develop "learning-planning communities" essential in a world of increasing relevant uncertainties and system discontinuities.

One has to be very cautions with methodologies that resemble the SC but which only address the "phenotype" of development approaches and leave the "genotype" intact.

Best regards,
