capitalism must be sustainable because there is no foreseeable and viable
alternative. closed command economies have not proven successful in the
past because they cannot compete with the capitalist economies which
already exist in the world. these closed economies attempt to fuse the
economic (civil) and political (governmental) spheres and in so doing
inhibit the liberal, freely contracting environment which has proven to
be the most productive and efficient. interfere with the dichotomy of
the civil and political spheres and you risk survival and
national sovereignty. Maintain the dichotomy of these spheres, and the
evolution of capitalism becomes inevitable.

Some would say that the only thing unsustainable about capitalism is its inequities and the poverty and suffering that seem to accompany it. These are what need to be addressed and fixed or they themselves make capitalism unsustainable. Address these variables and capitalism remains very viable. How to do that?? Tune in next week, same bat channel, same bat station. or maybe u have an answer/answers.
