Gary, though I am usually in the camp of Susan Almy and the others
who supported her note (as I have myself had to connect from Africa
and have many friends who do), in this particular case, I tend to
agree with you.
While there have been a lot of things said that I do not agree with,
and there has been at times some excess verbiage, on the whole it has
been a lively and informed debate from which I feel I have
benefitted.
