Well, I think it is crucial to differentiate "freedom" from "laisse faire". In the case of the Tribes it is clearly laisse faire.

I don't agree, for this to me is contradictory. Cooperation cannot be imposed, it can only be achieved by means of a participative democrative government (neither authoritarian nor laisse faire).
