Black Sea University Foundation

The Black Sea University Foundation (BSUF), located in Bucharest,
Romania, is organizing the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN)
- an Internet infrastructure to facilitate educational initia-
tives for some 80 universities in the 11 countries of the Black
Sea region: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia,
Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Universi-
ties outside the region are also invited to take part in these
initiatives.
A Conference of the Rectors of the Black Sea Universities is
scheduled for 9-12 July 1998 in Constantza, Romania to discuss
the planning and implementation of this project. University
Presidents and Rectors who would be interested in attending the
conference are asked to contact the one of the following individ-
