Dear Colleagues,

I am doing a white paper for a group interested in using the Internet to provide business consulting services to SMEs or potential new business starts, and was curious whether people in the profession have seen examples of these, where examples might be, and whether you felt the specific implmentations were good or wanting.

I am also particularly interested in client or user profiles (just who DOES use such services?) and any measures of impact of consulting services delivered over the 'net.

I am looking into US SBA's SCORE, and I have found Ernst and Young's "Ernie", and an innovative four-language peer advising service on compuserve, but then it quickly seems to vanish, aside from tech support services via the web. What looks good to you?

I appreciate any help you could give me.

Thanks in advance, Jerry Katz
