An article on the correlates of private ownership by Floyd Rudmin A reprinted article on Culture by Kenelm Burridge Two reprinted articles by Jean Briggs on Eskimo Childhood An article by John McCreary on being a gaijin in Japan, for the Field experiences section. A beginning bibliography of Brasilian anthropology.
The Surf Along with AnthroGlobe section has been revised, with a considerable number of entries soon to be added. A permanent reference of book reviews, which can be expanded to include audio-visual materials, will shortly be expanded, mostly with reprinted reviews. Sections dealing with new book (Ph.D. thesis, audio-visual, music) announcements and professional news are intended shortly -- items here will be dated and removed after a period.
Consider AnthroGlobe for multi-media materials. We welcome substantive materials derived from conferences, symposia, seminars. Please recommend out-of-the-way and significant papers for re-publishing.
