In the social sciences booklet No. 68, edited by the Facultad
Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, Miguel Sobrado, professor at
the U.N.A.(note 1), submitted a conceptual proposal about the (often
misunderstood) training (note 2).
The work entitled "Capacitacion y discapacitacion en los proyectos de
desarrollo" makes clear, among other things, that social relationships
of dominance, like political clientage, tend to put themselves before
the technical needs of training, distorting the design and the
execution in social and economical projects.
The professor Sobrado is interested to get in touch, preferably over
the Internet, with persons or institutions who:
A- Have experience of or are professionally involved in similar fields
in order to exchange bibliographical and other materials.
B- Are interested in the further elaboration of the proposal.
C- Understand Spanish, English, French, Portuguese or Polish. Those who
can read mail and materials in Spanish are particularly welcome.
If you wish to get an abstract of the proposal (in english) or the full
proposal text (in spanish) please contact assistant Leonel Fonseca at:
mailto:lfonsec@irazu.una.ac.cr (INTERNET address)
