The Federal Government's Appalachian Regional Commission and Rural Action,
a sustainable community development organization based in SE Ohio is proud
to announce the new Mailing List, AppalDev.
AppalDev (Appalachian Community and Economic Development Mailing List) is for:
* Members of the ARC's Local Development Districts
* State Governor's Offices of Appalachian states
* All employees of the ARC
* Scholars of Appalachia
* Members of all economic development agencies and Chambers of Commerce
* Community activists and representatives of Appalachian non-profit or
not-for-profit community organizations of all stripes and colors,
* People living in or interested in development issues of the states of:
Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North
Carolina
Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia & West Virginia
* and, of course, anyone else who is interested in Appalachian
development issues, such as rural datafication, poverty, rural ecology,
economic opportunity, etc.
