I just received on e-mail your announcement of the 3rd Annual Conference
and wanted to respond


I apologize first to those members of the DEVEL-L list who wish the list
to avoid politics for politicizing the list.


Although I can do nothing to force my government to act humanely and
intervene to stop the Serbian (a.k.a. "Yugoslavian") aggression and
"ethnic cleansing" in Bosnia-Herzegovina, I can at least state that I will
in no way participate in any activity that takes place in Serbia, is put
on by Serbians, or in any way treats official or unofficial
representatives of Serbia as accepted members of the international
community.


I would hope other members of the list will likewise boycott any
Serbian-sponsored activity or conference and will make those sponsoring
the conference aware of their intent to treat the Serbia as an pariah
among nations.
